The overnight ship from Keelung to Matsu, and the daily ferries between the islands of Lienchiang County.
The Matsu islands make up Lienchiang County: Nangan, Beigan, Juguang (Dongju and Xiju) and Dongyin. From Taiwan, the Taima ship leaves Keelung's West Passenger Terminal in the evening and calls first at Dongyin or Nangan, depending on the sailing. Once in Matsu you change to the inter-island ferries; on Nangan they leave from the Fuao Harbor passenger terminal.
Different companies run the island boats: South North Shipping sails from Nangan to Beigan and Juguang, while Juguang Shipping links Dongju and Xiju. Schedules are often posted day by day and can change with the sea, so each page states the dates it uses, the pier and when we checked it.
